A half day on the Gulf coast around Dammam and Al Khobar. You are collected from your hotel, driven out to Half Moon Bay for time on the sand, then brought back along the water to the Khobar seafront, where tall trees, wooden huts and stone benches line the walk and pieces of public art are set along it.
Nothing here is rushed, there is no ticket for the seafront and there are play areas for children, so it works as a family morning or afternoon. If you would rather spend a full day inland instead, Al Ahsa, in the same province, is the alternative.

Morning
Pick-up from your hotel and the drive out to Half Moon Bay, with time on the sand and by the water.
Midday
Back along the coast to the Khobar seafront for a walk between the trees, huts and art pieces, with a stop for a cold drink before your hotel.
