Saudi Arabia travel FAQ

Short answers to common questions about planning and booking a trip to Saudi Arabia.

How does booking a trip work?
Send us your travel dates, group size and the places you want to see — by WhatsApp, email or the planning form. Within 24 hours we send back a day-by-day itinerary with hotel suggestions and a clear price. We then refine it together, with no fee for changes at this stage, and you confirm with a 25% deposit.
How much does a trip cost?
We don't publish a fixed price next to a destination, because the real cost depends on your dates, the hotels you choose and how you move between cities. We build the route first, then price that exact itinerary — every quote breaks the cost down by inclusions, exclusions and per-day spending.
Can I change my itinerary after I've booked?
Yes. You can swap hotels, switch cities or change the pace up to 14 days before you travel, with no redesign fee. During the initial planning stage, before the deposit, changes are free as well.
How do I pay, and what's the deposit?
A trip is confirmed with a 25% deposit, paid by card, PayPal or bank transfer. That locks in your hotels, guides and drivers; the balance is arranged before you travel.
Do I need a visa to visit Saudi Arabia?
Most Western, and many other, nationalities can apply for a Saudi e-visa online — a system the government introduced for tourism in 2019. Eligibility and requirements can change, so check your specific nationality on the official Saudi e-visa portal before you book flights.
When is the best time to visit Saudi Arabia?
October to March is the easier window across most of the country, with manageable daytime temperatures. Summer (June to September) turns severe in the interior and along the coast, so most of what's covered on this site — AlUla, Riyadh, the Red Sea coast — is best visited outside those months.
Are your guides licensed?
Yes. Guiding at the archaeological and heritage sites — Hegra, Dadan and similar places — is done by guides licensed to work them, not by general-purpose tour leaders.
Do you run group tours, or only private trips?
Every trip here is private and built around your own dates and group — there's no fixed departure you join alongside strangers. Solo, couple, family or small group, the itinerary is built for you specifically.
What support do I have once I'm actually travelling?
An English-speaking ground manager and a 24/7 WhatsApp line are with you from airport pickup to airport drop-off, so if a flight changes or a plan needs adjusting mid-trip, there's a real person to reach.
