Edge of the World is a cliff some 100 km from Riyadh, at the end of the Tuwaik Mountain range, which extends around 800 km. The rock stops and the ground drops away to a flat plain, and that view is the whole reason for the drive.
No ticket is needed for the site itself. This half day leaves in the afternoon so the last light is spent at the top and the return drive happens after dark. That leaves the morning open, and Diriyah fits neatly in before an afternoon departure.
Day by day
Afternoon
Collection from your hotel and the drive out of the city. The last stretch is slow going, so a four-wheel-drive vehicle is used. There is time to walk along the rim and find the viewpoints before the light changes.
Sunset
Time at the cliff edge for sunset, with the plain below turning as the light drops, then the drive back to your hotel in Riyadh after dark.
