Farasan island day

  • 1 Day
  • Full day

A full day among the Farasan Islands, the archipelago recognised as the Kingdom's first natural reserve under UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Programme. You travel by boat, moving between islands with stops to swim and to walk on shore, and the guide explains what the reserve protects.

Wildlife in the reserve includes dolphins, sea turtles and migratory birds, though nothing on the water can be promised on any given day. The islands lie off the Red Sea coast, so bring sun cover and shoes you can get wet.
